Hertfordshire Golf runs nine county teams playing over 70 matches with the East Region and South East counties.

The Boys under 18 won the South Eastern Group Boys under 18 league, beating Kent (5-3) and Bedfordshire (6-2) in the final.  They were nearly matched by the Boys under 16s who also reached their SEG Boys u16 League final, but they were narrowly beaten by Hampshire on game points difference, after beating Suffolk (6-2) and halving with Hampshire (4-4).

The Girls were second in the East Region division after winning four matches but losing to the overall winners Norfolk.

The Men’s Seniors team were second in their South East division to Berks, Bucks and Oxon (BB&O) who beat them 5.5-4.5 in the last match.  However, they did reached the final of the South East Foursomes, finishing in third place, having narrowly lost the final match against Sussex.

The Men’s 1st team were also second in their South East division, having won three matches and lost one to the overall winners Essex.  Similarly, the Colts lost out to Essex in their division.

The Ladies’ 1st team were disappointed with their performance in the East Region County Match Week, finishing tied with Bedfordshire for last place, but are determined to do better next year.  The Ladies’ Seniors were third in the South East Inter-County Championship.
