Rules Roadshow event Friday 17 March 2023

IMPROVE YOUR RULES KNOWLEDGE AND YOUR SCORES!

UPCOMING RULES ROADSHOW EVENT IN MARCH 2023 AT DYRHAM PARK GOLF CLUB, EN5 4RA ON FRIDAY 17TH MARCH

9:15am meet for 10am session start, session duration approx 2 hours+. 

These are practical half-day morning workshops, providing a great opportunity to improve your knowledge of the Rules of Golf through a series of interactive on-course sessions

Covering a wide range of common Rules situations:

• relief situations – your options and how to proceed
• the putting green
• bunkers
• lost and unplayable balls
• ground under repair
• penalty areas

Tuition provided by qualified and experienced England Golf and HG tournament referees

Tuition in small groups to allow for practical demonstrations and interactive Q&As

Suitable for everyone – from beginners looking to get a better grasp of the basics, to experienced golfers who want to keep up to date and know how to use the rules to their advantage. HG Rules Accreditation will be awarded to attendees who subsequently score over 90% in the online R&A Level 1 Rules Exam. Please ask on the day for further details.

Please note:  This is an outdoor event, so delegates will need to be fully prepared for any inclement weather

If you wish to attend the above HG Rules Roadshow, please contact the County office via email at admin@hertfordshiregolf.org by no later than Friday 10th March. Spaces are limited to 48 and if oversubscribed preference will be given to a) those whom have not attended a previous roadshow and b) members of clubs who do not currently have an accredited Rules Official.

There is NO CHARGE to attend this event. Tea and Coffee will be provided for all on arrival at the session.
