Women's Spring Meeting

88 Ladies from 15 Hertfordshire clubs enjoyed the West Course at Moor Park, playing a 4 player team event of 2 best scores from the four. Handicap indices ranged from single figures to those in the 30's and the course.

Unlike last year when the event had to be reduced to 9 holes due to horrendous weather, the weather was kind with a couple of scattered showers, and some wind - so a great feeling of relief for us all.

The winners were from The Melbourne Club; Daksha Pearson, Soo Ying Foster, Heidi Ong and Joyce Lim, on count back with a score of 82 points (shown here with County President Anne Pyke).

Runners up also with a score of 82 points from Old Fold Manor were Palita Moore,, Betty Yue, Linda Harlow and Sandra Huckle.

In third place, from Mid Herts with 79 points, were Lindsay Murray-Grey, Janet Biscoe, Rusty Howes and Nicky Poulain.
