Lifetime Achievement Award for Rowena Hemmings

Rowena Hemmings of Porters Park was recently awarded with a Lifetime Achievement award from the Herts Sports Partnership for services to sport.

Rowena, who is the current Director for Golf Development for Hertfordshire Golf, has dedicated a vast amount of time and effort in developing the sport, with particular emphasis in bringing new people into the game and disabled golf.

Rowena is a long standing member of Porters Park Golf Club in Radlett and is a past Ladies' Captain, as well as a past Captain of the Herts County Ladies' Golf Association. Rowena is also very active in her local community in St Albans and undertakes wide and various charitable activities. 

Hertfordshire Golf would like to congratulate Rowena on her award and thank her for her tireless efforts in the development of golf in the county.
